A brief glimpse in time

This is just for a little fun.

Sovereign correspondence

Here is a tidbit from my files.

In January 1947 my future Aunt Nancy would have been in the third grade and her brother Don in the fifth. Older sister Lois was still more than three months from signing on as a Springsteen. Dad was in refrigeration school at Ferris Institute (now Ferris State University), assisted by the G.I. Bill.

Nancy must have gotten even better at spelling. She became a teacher, and I’m sure a very good one.
